This policy explains what happens to information when you use the eWellbore website at ewellbore.com. It covers this website only. It does not cover the WellDone or WellGrit products, which are governed by the agreement under which they are supplied.

1 · Who is responsible

2 · Information you give us

The contact form on this site asks for your first name, company, work email, role, reason for contact, and whatever you choose to write in the message field. You decide what to put in it. Please do not submit confidential well data, commercially sensitive information, or personal information about anyone else through this form.

3 · Information collected automatically

This site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and how visitors arrive. No analytics cookie is set until you accept one. We ask on your first visit, the answer is remembered in your browser under the key ewb-consent, and you can change it at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer. Until you accept, Google receives only cookieless, aggregated pings. This site sets no advertising cookies and carries no session recorder or social media tracker. We do not sell behavioural data, and we do not use it to build a marketing profile of you.

Three things happen automatically:

• Analytics. Google Analytics 4 stores cookies in your browser — named _ga and _ga_ followed by a property identifier — holding a randomly generated number that lets a return visit be recognised as the same browser. It records the pages you view, how you reached the site, basic device and browser information, and an approximate location derived from your IP address, which Google truncates before storing. None of it tells us your name. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on, by using your browser's Do Not Track or anti-tracking setting, or by blocking cookies for this site. Blocking it does not affect how the site works.
• Theme preference. If you switch between the dark and light appearance, that choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the key ewb-theme. It never leaves your device, is not sent to us, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings. It is not used to identify you.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data — IP address, timestamp, page requested, browser user-agent — as part of serving and protecting the site. This is ordinary infrastructure logging, not analytics.

4 · How we use it

Information you submit through the contact form is used to reply to you, to assess whether eWellbore is relevant to your wells, and to discuss participation in the Joint Industry Project if that is what you asked about. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone else's marketing.

We will not add you to a marketing mailing list on the strength of a contact form submission alone. If we ever start sending a newsletter, it will be opt-in and separately consented to.

5 · Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the site and respond to enquiries, and only to the extent needed:

• Hosting. This site is served by Netlify, which processes request data as described in section 3.
• Google. Analytics data is processed by Google LLC, which involves transferring it to the United States.
• [EMAIL / CRM PROVIDER]. Enquiries are handled in [SYSTEM NAME] so we can reply and keep track of the conversation.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to. Some of these providers operate outside your country; where that involves transferring personal information internationally, that transfer relies on [TRANSFER MECHANISM].

6 · How long we keep it

If you are in the UK or EEA and believe we have handled your information badly, you may complain to your national supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA.

The site is served over HTTPS. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect what you send us.

9 · Children

This is a business-to-business site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

10 · Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after that date means the revised policy applies.
